WHO IS THE RICK?
People call me The Rick. The DJ is silent.
The Rick is an open format DJ based in Pittsburgh, providing a tailored music experience for weddings, private parties, nightlife, and corporate functions, throughout the region.

With a consistent schedule of 30–40 events annually, his approach is rooted in adaptability and awareness, and a clear understanding of how to read a room and respond in real time. Every event is different, and the music should reflect that. The focus is always on creating the right energy for the moment, without ego or gimmicks. Whether the setting calls for a more refined atmosphere or a packed dance floor, he understands how to move between the two with intention.

Raised in the 412 by way of Carrick, Rick developed his own sound and approach by learning from respected local DJs in the Pittsburgh scene, refining a style that balances technical skill with a natural sense of timing and flow. He has partnered with several established organizations and is a preferred vendor at venues such as Carnegie Music Hall and Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh.

Rick focuses on creating an atmosphere that feels seamless and natural, from early moments to a full, engaged dance floor. His work has taken him beyond Pittsburgh to events across Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and New York.
